Burlesque Jazz

GROOVE

Part of the World GROOVE Movement, GROOVE is a very inclusive movement class that has no boundaries in terms of music or dance ability. It's about inspiring the world to dance! Kick Butt Ballet

In this upbeat, muscle-targeted cardio ballet class, you will learn ballet basics while building strength and muscle control. Great for beginners.

Intermediate Ballet

Returning to ballet after a long break? Or ready to take your beginner ballet skills to the next level? For fitness, for fun, for a challenge, or whatever. Intermediate Ballet is perfect for you.

Open Level Jazz

Get those jazz hands ready and get ready to sweat. You'll get a thorough warm up to prepare for those catwalks and coffee grinders. Yes, those are actual jazz steps. How could they not be fun?

Open Level Hip Hop

Remember the days when you and your girlfriends would recreate the dance moves of your favorite music videos? Well now's your chance to relive your backup dancer glory days in our choreography-based hip hop class!

Floor Barre

Strengthen your legs, core and arms in this high intensity, low impact conditioning class. This class doesn't involve any dancing, but it does involve floor mats, dumbbells (provided) and great music. Get a preview of this class here.

Beginner Ballet

Ever dreamed of being a ballerina? Start here to learn the basics of traditional ballet techniques along with traditional ballet music. And the occasional Adele album because we love her.

Monthly 101 Series

Over a 4-week series, learn the basics of varying dance styles. We start with the fundamentals of form and work our way up through technique and easy steps. Classes change every month and are schedule based on demand, so if you want to see a specific style offered, give us a shout!

Guest Classes

African Hip Hop

This class combines West African dance with contemporary hip hop for a fun, high intensity class that will have you moving nonstop. *This class is taught by a guest instructor who manages his own payments, so class passes and memberships purchased from Shine can't be used for this class. Please bring cash only and pay the instructor directly; $12 per class.*

Workshops

Stretching and Mobility

Learn the fundamentals of creating a safe and effective stretching and warm up routine. Jonathon of Competitive Mobility will guide you through dynamic stretches designed to increase mobility and decrease injuries, both on and off the dance floor. Offered based on demand, so keep an eye on our schedule.

SOUL GROOVE
