FAQ

Do I need dance experience?

You do not need any experience for our classes, although some experience is recommended for our Intermediate Ballet class. Our instructors will teach you everything you need to know and commonly give multiple options for a combination to accommodate for various skill levels.

What's the minimum age to take classes?

All of our dance classes are for adults. The minimum age is 16 years old.

What should I expect during dance classes?

During our classes, our instructors will show you a series of short combinations, explaining how to do each step, then starting the music for you to dance to. Our instructors will most likely dance each combination right along side you, calling out the next steps as they come, so you will never feel totally lost. And if you feel like you're not quite sure what you're doing, that's okay! We're not here to become professional dancers; we just want to have fun! And no matter how you do in class, you're making yourself better just by being there.

How do I sign up?

You can sign up and pay for classes through the MindBody app. If you want to use your browser instead of the app, you can also sign up via our schedule online. If you have any questions, just call or email us.

How can I pay for classes?

You can pay with a card through the MindBody app or through our schedule online. If that sounds a little too complicated for you, don't worry. Come to the studio a few minutes early and we can take payments in person. We accept cash or card.

Do you sell gift cards?

We do, and they make great gifts, so thanks for asking! You can purchase them online here. You can customize the amount and send a personalized message.

What should I wear?

Wear something you are comfortable working out in such as athletic pants or shorts and a t-shirt or tank top. Footwear varies by class, so check out the guide below.

BalletJazz, GROOVE, Burlesque: ballet slippers, jazz shoes, or socks--whatever makes you feel comfortable
Hip Hop: tennis shoes
Floor Barre and Conditioning and Stretching: tennis shoes or bare feet

We do not offer childcare at this time, but if your child is 16 or older they are welcome to join us for class!

Where can I park?

Parking is available in the surface lot just south of the building and along Center street.

I am looking for a place to rehearse. Do you do floor rentals?

Yes, you can rent time to rehearse for your wedding, quinceañera, performance, etc. in our studio for $30 an hour. Discounts available for consecutive or repeated rentals. Check out our availability (subject to change) and then check with us to work out details.
